We have three Official Veterinarians to help your pet qualify for the Pet Travel Scheme. If you plan to holiday abroad with your pet to a country that qualifies for the Pet Travel Scheme, please contact us at least eight months in advance of your expected departure date to give the best chance of qualifying in time for your travels. In short, your pet will need to be microchipped, vaccinated against Rabies, and blood tested a month later to ensure the Rabies vaccine has been successful. A Pet Passport can then be issued, however, you will then need to wait for six months from the time of the blood test before you can re-enter Britain having been abroad to a Pet Travel Scheme qualifying country.
